Welcome to Learning Rivers!
The vision for Learning Rivers is to teach everything a child needs to know in 1,000 lessons. We will be teaching Reading from letters to literature, writing from writing a sentence to writing a novel, and mathematics from counting to calculus. Our first installment of Learning Rivers is Reading Rivers 100, and the Writing Rivers Story Journal.
This innovative, accelerated and enjoyable curriculum is the brain-child of acclaimed author and speaker, Teri Spray. Teri Spray has been teaching children to read for over 30 years. She has guided thousands of parents as they home schooled challenging children for over 20 years through Christian Cottage Schools and Home School Services. Recently, new brain research and training techniques have actually multiplied her student's speed of learning, retention and results. Now these same amazing techniques have been applied to the Reading Rivers program. Teri feels any parent can now teach their own child to read, spell, and and write stories like a Reading Specialist. “Even if a child reverses letters, scrambles sounds or drops pencils, they can succeed with this program.”
